UPGRADED D40 BILLET OIL PUMP
Upgraded D40 oil pump with Australian Billet 4140 oil pump gears. The Inner gear drive surface is wider than standard to increase harmonic balancer pulley drive life.
Comes with an oil pump squirter fitted and dowels ground to correct length. Oil pumps from Nissan do not come with the oil squirter fitted. If the oil pump is fitted without the squirter it will blow turbos every couple 1000kms. Fitting an oil pump without the dowels shortened increases the chance of pinching the oil pump pick-up oring.

D22 OIL PUMP (Standard Gears) MODIFIED OIL PUMP BACK COVER
The oil pump backing plate has been modified so that the oil pump can be removed without removing the sump.
Comes with an oil pump squirter fitted. Oil pumps from Nissan do not come with the oil squirter fitted. If the oil pump is fitted without the squirter it will blow turbos every couple 1000kms.

EGR DELETE PIPE KIT D40 & R51
The EGR pipe on D40 and R51 has been known to fatigue in the heat exchanger and on the exhaust manifold end. The fatigue cracks leak exhaust gases and coolant. The coolant leaks are internal and will give no visible evidence. There is a gas jet between the EGR valve and the intake manifold which interferes with the air flow and restricts the intake manifold air flow rates. The EGR delete kit has a gas jet blanking plate which replaces the gas jet which improves the air flow in the intake manifold. For a D22 just use the gas jet plate. The EGR delete kit eliminates the EGR pipe totally for a D40 and R51. With the EGR modification, D40 and R51 produces 15% more torque and the D22 produces 20% more torque from 1000rpm. Both have an improvement in fuel economy of about 5%. When the egr pipe is removed on a D40 and R51 there is clear access to the drive belts and the cam chain cover. There will be an increase in NOX which in not visible by eye. Black smoke from stationery take off is reduced considerably.

FUEL RAIL PLUG
Fuel pressure relief valves. The relief valve is located in the rear of the fuel rail. Nissan sells a complete fuel rail not the valve. When you accelerate heavy, the valve bypasses, the engine looses power [limp mode], there will be a P1272 code logged. To clear the code you shut down the engine. Restart and the code is clear. The next time you accelerate the valve will bypass again putting the engine in limp mode. The answer is a Fuel Rail Plug. It is a direct replacement part that works. This is an off road product.
Common rail fuel systems operate at extreme fuel pressure, only experienced persons should work on these systems. Do not under any circumstances loosen fuel components on a running engine. The fuel system holds residual pressure for several minutes after shut down. Only loosen parts 10 minutes after shutdown. Do not touch or place body parts near running common rail fuel system pipes. Do not touch any leaks as you can be injected with diesel which is life threatening.

SUCTION CONTROL VALVE
The Suction Control Valve is located on the back of the fuel pump. We stock the valve below. Genuine Nissan Part. Note that this is the short body type. Long body valves are not interchangeable. Our valves suit all D22 and all D40 high turbo Spain and Thailand. Does not suit Spain early low turbo or 140 kw engine.
Does the car surge or hunt at idle, slightly surge or hunt on the highway, take a while to respond to throttle. These are symptoms of the suction control valve failing. The suction control valve is on the low pressure side of the fuel system. General fuel exposure precautions need to be followed.

YD25 D40 R51 HEATER OIL COOLER HOSES
All modern cars are fitted with plastic fibreglass radiator tanks and fittings. Older cooling systems used copper, brass and tin lead solder. Concerns over lead exposure to humans and environment has seen lead free cooling systems being used in modern vehicles. With the introduction of lead free cooling systems composite materials consisting of resins and fibreglass have replaced the reliable copper, brass and lead metal components. Over time, resins break down with heat and this limits the service life of resin based components. Our heater hose kit includes a long life brass T to replace the OE composite T piece. The kit also includes a moulded heat resistant hose that replaces the OE composite/ metal line fitted to the firewall. Our replacement hose mounts behind the existing heater hose but unlike the OE part, allows much better access to the oil filter. Our oil cooler hoses are heavier duty than OE hoses to suit vehicles with an aluminium oil cooler. We have OEM stainless steel oil cooler hoses. Before ordering please check your oil cooler and advise if it is stainless steel or aluminium

From 2011 all 5 cylinder 3.2 P5At, 4 Cylinder 2.2 P4At Ford ranger Mazda bt50 engines use vane oil pumps. It has come to our attention that these vane pumps are prone to 2 types of failure. The first most common failure is failing to self-prime when the oil is changed. Oil changes must be done and the engine started within 5 minutes. If you don’t restart the engine asap than an air lock occurs in the vane pump. The air lock prevents the vane pump form self-priming. The second type of failure is the oil pump vanes brake. This results in oil pressure failure. If the engine is not shut down within seconds Chaotropic engine failure will occur within 20 to 30 seconds. You will then be looking for another engine and upgraded gear oil pump.
